Every Year for the Oct Conference, our family goes camping. We are able to see conference on TV where we go so it is a fun way to spend time as a family plus listen to a Prophets voice. I usually update out 72 hour packs but since this year we got free zed dried food that will last 30 years. I am just going to put one can in each of our back packs with lots of water. :)
Camping Site #2 hour and 1/2 out side of Gilbert
This year we started off in our normal spot near Strawberry but then after we drove the boys in to see Priesthood session in Strawberry we decided to move to the place we are going camping for the ward camp out the end of this month. It was wonderful and so many trails to follow there.
For the first time ever, I was in charge of the FOOD. Dean is usually in charge of it. Also we had packets for each of the kids to do while listening to conference.
We played a NEW game this year called "BS". The "BS" stood for "BOY SCOUT". What else would it mean? :)
A few other things we did:
New Game, I don't know what it is called but you throw balls and hope they get got on one of the poles.

Four Wheeling fun. I am just putting on my seat belt after a couple of fast turns.
Morning Clouds. Taylor took this one. I just love it.

love the picture of you and dean--that is a keeper! Your weekend sounds like so much fun--what is the story of the wheels in the air?
I have heard the golf ball game called hill billy golf--love that game--it is so much fun. We had a tournament on the beach last year--only way to get us out of our chairs. I can't believe how grown up all the kids are looking but especially Kyle--holie molie! I love your idea gum--how fun and creative--And most of all i love your insite into what touched you--I know that there are angels among us and that we can all be instruments in the lords hands, to help each other and lighten each others burdens. Thanks for sharing your weekend--we are off to Mexico
Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!! It made me jealous we weren't with you. I am glad you had a great time. What wonderful memories!
Kaylene- we sure missed you too. We will have to plan a trip together with our families!
LeighAnn- You know that you were one of my Earthly Angels! Thank you for listening to the Spirit and following through. I truely don't know where I would be if it was not for you! Annette

Oh! This makes me want a camping trailer SO BAD! I love the picture of you and Dean too...What a great pair! But I am most dying about your ORBIT GUM tasting method of listening to conference. That's the best idea I have heard this year. I need to remember that one for sure! Thanks for sharing and fantastic pics, Annette!
