Making Jam

I get such a wonderfully fun feeling when I am making Jam. My Grandmother used to make it and so when I make it, I think of her. Oh how I loved that woman, Ruth Brox. This is one of her signature jams. PEACH CANTALOUPE. So Yummy! My Kyle is helping me. What an awesome kid...

Peach Cantaloupe Jam
by Ruth Brox
4 cups Diced Peaches
4 cups diced cantaloupe
2-3 lemons, juiced and grated rind
6 cups sugar
1 cup diced Maraschino cherries
Peel and dice fruit. Combine all ingredients, except Cherries. Cook mixture until thick and clear. Add cherries and pour into jars and seal.

mmmmmmm---that looks good! I remember your grandma's jam--and i still love making her bread. Great memories!
