Early Birthday Present for Dean Taylor

Ever since this boy joined the FFA, there has only been one thing on his mind.  It is to own a COW!  Yes, a COW.  Well, thanks to a great neighbor, Gordon Ray, and his contacts, we were able to get the thing Dean wanted most for his birthday this year.  For $5, one can get a new born Jersey Bull.  As Jersey Cows are know for their milk and since boy cow don't give milk, the Dairy Farmer has no need of a Jersey Boy Cow or Bull.  So once they are born, they hurry and sell them.  Well, little "COWBOY" was born on Nov 17th and DT took him home that same day.  He has had to bottle feed that little baby every morning and evening.   Oh, no one told me that you fall instantly in LOVE with a new born calf.  COWBOY is so so Sweet! Dang it, I am in Love with his Big Brown Eyes, Long Eyelashes, soft fur, cute little Moooooo.

Carrying the baby to the Pen.
Yes that is how he has to feed the Calf for now.  Poor little thing, He did not want to eat the first day.
MOOOOOOOO

Uh...you know what those cows are raised for right? They aren't life long pets. Don't get too attached! :-)
