We have been friends with LeighAnn and Kevin before Dean and I ever had kids. In fact, she was the one that told me I was pregnant even before I knew it. She just had a dream that I was. She found out she was pregnant around the same time. In fact her baby was due (well they were trying to keep her baby in until the end of the the year back in 1994). My baby was not due until Feb 14, 1995. Well as life never goes the way you plan, My baby came 10 weeks early and in Dec of 1994 and her baby stayed in until the middle of January of 1995.
I learned alot from her about being a mom and taking care of a baby. In fact, whenever I thought Taylor was sick or hurt himself, I would run across the way to LeighAnn's home. She would usually have to reassure me that DT was normal and everything was fine. I don't know what I would have done with out her! Looking at me now with my 4th Child, it is hard to believe I was such an Extreme Worried mom.
Anyway, It was fun to have 2 kids the same age. They ended up to be good friends. They would play together. I love the following pic. They were sitting on the stairs in our Townhome and I just captured the moment. It was so sweet. {don't kill me Kaycie or DT for putting this on my blog}
Fast Forward 16 years, they are still friends. DT took her out on her first date when she turned 16.

Where has the time gone??? It feels like that was only yesterday in so many ways! You are so sweet to give me any credit--you are a GREAT mom always doing fun things--first babies are nerve racking especially when they come into the world early--so glad that these two have grown up together and that DT could be her first date--she had a great time!
So cute! Taylor looked liked a doll.
