CHICKENS!

The conversation went something like this:

DT: Mom I NEED 4 chickens to do my FFA assignment!

MOM: Really- Can’t you do anything else- Like let’s say some sort of Plant experiment?

DT: NO. Everyone else is doing Stupid Plant experiments. I want to do something Different.

MOM: Well, We don’t have a place to put them plus I don’t have the $ right NOW to get them. NO CHICKENS.

DT: UGHGHGHGHGH

Later that day:

DT: Mom come see what I did.

MOM: UGHUGH, Really, Chickens. Where What and How?

DT: I bought them with my own $.  Mr. Ray Sold them to me for $5 apiece. And I will take care of them. See- I built a place to put them.

(Pointing to a contraption made from old wood and wire)

MOM: We have no Chicken Feed.

DT: That is OK, they will eat Table scraps.

MOM: I am sure if they get out, Rascal or FiFi will eat them. 

An Aside:
Chickens can fly out of Pen DT made.  DT had to clip chickens wings.  The Dogs have gotten into the cage a couple of times but luckly no died chickens.  Kyle thought it would be cool to show his Chicken carrying techique but only made it have way across the lawn and dropped the chicken.  Dogs chased poor chicken but in the end DT got Chicken back in pen.  They have been feed at least once since we got them with left over salad.  Kyle is trying out his Chicken Hypnotizing technique as well,  have not seen it work yet.  Updates later....
