The "Secret" Room and Kyle

So I am finally getting around to this post.


A couple of months ago, Kyle comes in for breakfast and said "Hey Mom, I have been thinking...."

"Yes, Kyle"

"Well, I was thinking about how to make our house WORTH more."

"Really"

"Yes"

"So what is your plan?"

"Well, if we make a 'Secret' room in my room that would add to the price of our home."

"I guess it would Kyle, where would you put it?"

"Next to my bed and I could hid all my important things in there, like my money, Pokémon cards, and special things"

"We will have to talk to your Dad about this"

"OK"

Then off the school Kyle went...

A mother's intuition told me I should just go and check out his room. He really sounded like he had thought this though....

Well this is what I found on his newly painted smooth finished Blue wall...

A 12 inch by 12 inch scored out square next to his bed. The corners not just picked out but DUG out.

I guess he did not know that is was SOLID Concrete behind his walls.

 

Needless to say his Pocket Knife was confiscated, had a long lecture on respecting our house, and many many chores to do.
