My New Favorite Scripture

I was reading in the scriptures, as try to do everyday. This day was different as I picked up the New Testament and just opened it up. It opened to Hebrews 12. In Hebrews 12:1, the passage that got my attention and has not left my mind since is "and let us run with patience the race that is set before us." Nothing hit me stronger then those few little words. As a person, that reads the end of books before I read all of the book, this is something really hard for me. How do you run with patience? If you want something done right now? if you want to know the end before the beginning? How? It has given me much to consider.

wow--giving me something to considor--it is hard to have patience when you don't know how something will end....that's a good one--keep us posted on how it goes--and in the meantime i will be pondering that as well....

I am a "whole to parts" person and the past year has been a trial of patience. I wish that I knew how everything looked, then I could break it down into do-able pieces.
